POSITION SUMMARY 

The Recruiter will be responsible for filling positions for a variety of roles under the direction of the Principal Consultant/CEO. The Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for full cycle recruiting; sourcing, screening, interviewing, consulting with clients, extending job offers and onboarding new hires.  

 

NOTES 

This position is remote and not mandated to typical business hours. 

This position will be paid according to signed contracts and will not be paid on a schedule.  

This position does not have supervisor responsibilities. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Consults with client company to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant position(s). 
  • Collects and analyzes data to maintain current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields. 
  • Maintains candidate data and records for Driven HR Services that will be used to identify and select potential candidates for vacant positions. 
  • Screens candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase, and then connects viable candidates with clients and/or hiring managers. 
  • Checks candidates’ references and credentials, verifying experience and backgrounds. 
  • Counsels’ candidates on the interview and hiring process. 
  • Organizes and attends job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities. 
  • Follows up with clients or hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made; collects feedback when placement is unsuccessful. 
  • Arranges meeting locations, travel, and/or accommodations for applicants and company managers when necessary. 
  • Maintains and ensures compliance with applicable equal employment opportunity (EEO) and related employment laws and regulations.  
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.  

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with aptitude in conducting interviews. 
  • Excellent organizational skills. 
  • Thorough understanding of EEO, ADA, and other related employment laws and guidelines.  
  • Has the ability to communicate with diverse audiences and stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.   
  • Has the ability to build positive, productive, long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Strong project management skills required; proven ability to effectively manage various urgent/time sensitive processes or projects.  
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint programs.  
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.  

 

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 

  • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree is required. 
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in a staffing/recruiting role managing the full cycle of recruiting and on-boarding new hire employees required. 
  • Account Management/Client Engagement experience is a PLUS 
  • Background in various areas of recruiting  
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening 

 

MINIMUM SALARY: 

All positions are commensurate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the successful candidate. The minimum salary for this position is $25.00 per hour and paid according to signed contracts.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

This position is remote and primarily works in a home office environment.  It requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking and may require the ability to use a computer for extended periods.
